First-Year Residency

  • General Medicine Inpatient Wards:  5 months
  • Night Float: 1 month
  • Medical Intensive Care Unit:  1 month
  • Ambulatory Internal Medicine (OPC): 2 months
  • Emergency Medicine: 1 month
  • Epidemiology Course: 1/2 month
  • Electives: 1 month
  • Vacation: 3 weeks

Second-Year Residency


  • Supervising General Medicine Inpatient Wards: 3 months
  • Night Float: 1 month
  • Coronary Care Unit: 1 month
  • Ambulatory Internal Medicine (OPC): 2 months
  • Ambulatory Care Block (ACB): 1 month
  • Geriatrics: 1 month
  • Acute Renal Inpatient Consults: 2 weeks
  • Electives: 1 1/2 months
  • Vacation: 3 weeks

Third-Year Residency

  • Supervising General Medicine Inpatient Wards:  1 month
  • Night Float: 1 month
  • Medical Intensive Care Unit: 1 month
  • Ambulatory Internal Medicine (OPC): 2 months
  • Bridge Resident: 2 months
  • Neurology: 1 month
  • Electives: 3 months
