Behavioral Health Services
At Moses Cone Health System Behavioral Health Center, we understand that when a person becomes mentally ill or suffers from substance abuse, there is no longer a normal pattern to everyday living. Our patients trust us to restore the natural stability to their lives, no matter the situation.
Help is always just a phone call away with our 24-hour HelpLine that provides free, direct access to a trained professional day and night, seven days a week. Patients may be referred by their primary care doctor, therapist or mental health provider, or may be self-referred.
At the Behavioral Health Center, our team of highly skilled physicians, case managers, counselors, social workers, nurses and therapists work to ensure each patient’s recovery from a wide range of emotional problems. Our staff is committed to providing each patient with confidential care that fits his or her specific lifestyle.
In 2000, the Behavioral Health program consolidated at its new facility located at 700 Walter Reed Drive. The 80-bed facility (50 adult, 30 child and adolescent) also features space for outdoor recreation opportunities and additional programs.
