     You will be transferred to a hospital that provides the needed services based upon your condition, the doctor you’d like to see or which hospital you choose.

Will I receive two emergency department charges if I am transferred to another hospital or emergency department?
     No, not if you are transferred to a Moses Cone Health System hospital.

     Yes, we have the same equipment as the emergency department at Moses Cone Hospital.

What if I am injured badly and need to go to a trauma center, or I take my child there and they need to go to Brenner’s Children’s Hospital?
    You will be taken directly to the needed facility. We will not delay someone requiring care that Moses Cone Health System does not provide.

Can I see my own doctor in the emergency department at Moses Cone MedCenter High Point?
     If your physician has privileges with Moses Cone Health System, he/she can see you at Moses Cone MedCenter High Point. However, because of federal regulations, the emergency department physician may need to see you. This ensures your condition doesn’t worsen while waiting for your physician.

Who are the emergency department physicians?
      Wake Forest Baptist University employs the emergency department physicians throughout Moses Cone Health System. All physicians at Moses Cone MedCenter High Point are board certified in emergency medicine.

What physician offices and other services are in the building?
     Moses Cone Outpatient Rehabilitation, Moses Cone Regional Cancer Center, LeBauer HealthCare and Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics Center (SM&OC).

Which Regional Cancer Center doctor will practice at Moses Cone MedCenter High Point?
     Dr. Peter Ennever.

Who will be the primary care doctors at LeBauer's MedCenter High Point office?
     Dr. Robert Yoo and Dr. Laura Wilson.
 
What kind of outpatient procedures will Radiology do?
      Routine X-ray exams, ultrasound, mammography, CT and MRI.

What if I need an X-ray or MRI?
    Chances are yours can be done at Moses Cone MedCenter High Point. Simply bring your doctor’s order to the Imaging Center at MedCenter High Point or ask your doctor to arrange it there for you.

What are the hours for Outpatient Rehabilitation services?
     8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday.
