New medical director named at Cardiac Catheterization Lab

(October 13, 2004) Dr. Mark Pulsipher is the new Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab of The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. His renewable appointment is for two years. Pulsipher becomes the fourth medical director in the lab's history.
Pulsipher replaces Dr. Thomas Stuckey who served in the position for 13 years.
Pulsipher practices in the Cardiology Division of LeBauer HealthCare. He earned his medical degree at the University of Utah and performed his fellowship in interventional cardiology at Duke University. Pulsipher is board certified in interventional cardiology.
The Cardiac Catheterization Lab of Moses Cone Hospital is one of the busiest in the state. In fiscal year 2004, 1,855 angioplasties and stent placements and 7,238 diagnostic catheterizations were performed on 6,492 patients.
