New director named at Behavioral Health Center

(August 12, 2002) Moses Cone Health System Behavioral Health Center names John Price, RN, as director of the Adult Inpatient Unit.

Price has worked at what is now Moses Cone Behavioral Health Center for the past 13 years and has held a variety of leadership positions.

Price will be responsible for the 42-bed adult unit at the Behavioral Health center. The adult unit serves people who come into the hospital for reasons ranging from personal situational problems to the more acute mental illnesses.

'My philosophy is that we have to work together as a team,' Price says. 'I encourage staff to come to me with ideas as to how the unit can function more effectively. It is an honor to work with members of the leadership team and with the staff here at Moses Cone Behavioral Health.'
