HealthServe Community Health Clinic and its Advanced Access program will be featured as a success story on the Web site of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
The Web site address is www.ihi.org. It is accessed by organizations involved in quality work around the world.
'We are very honored by this and proud that we will be featured on the Web site,' Chris Wilson, Director, HealthServe Community Health Clinic, says.
The Advanced Access program allows patients to be seen the day they call for an appointment and improves the efficiency of the medical practice.
HealthServe has spent the past 18 months working on the program with IHI, a national quality-improvement organization that counts Moses Cone Health System among its members. In June, HealthServe received recognition as "Best of the Best" at an IHI conference. HealthServe was then asked to present its work at the 17th annual National Forum on Quality Healthcare, which was attended by more than 5,500 people.
HealthServe Community Health Clinic provides timely, high quality healthcare to more than 10,000 people a year. It is a collaboration of Moses Cone Health System, Guilford County, Moses Cone-Wesley Long Community Health Foundation, corporations, religious organizations and individuals who generously provide needed financial support.
